DUNDEE KZN: Home Affairs office temporarily closes

Covid-19 continues to impact heavily on life in the Dundee district

Home Affairs in Dundee, the scene of daily snaking queues, is to be closed from today to January 13.

M Mhlongo, office manager, said a Covid-19 case had been identified in the office and in terms of regulations the office has to be closed for ‘deep cleansing’ and all staff tested for the virus.

He advised those urgently seeking Home Affairs services to access the Msinga, Nquthu, Ladysmith or Newcastle offices.

Standard Bank in Dundee has also been closed ‘until further notice’ but the notice issued does not indicate if this is also Covid-19 related.
