The Dundee SAPS have asked members of the public to assist in identifying a man whose body was found near the railway line adjacent to Peacevale over the weekend.

He is approximately about 30-40 years old between and anybody with information as to his identity is asked to contact the Dundee at 034 2999 700, or their nearest police station.

A post mortem determined that the man had been either assaulted or stabbed.
