Ladysmith KZN: Parts of town without electricity since this morning

Electricians have been sent out and are currently attending to the issue

Many parts of Observation Hill and the Egerton area have been left without power since the early hours of this morning (February 5).

Residents are furious, as many people have reported the outage but are still ‘sitting in the dark’ and waiting for something to be done about the problem.

It is believed that the delayed restoration of power supply is due to the municipality not issuing overtime to its electricians. This has not been confirmed though.

Electricians have been sent out and are currently attending to the issue, yet no time frame has been given as to when the power will come back on again.
