Ladysmith KZN: Libraries to re-open, with certain conditions
Operating hours will be 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
Libraries will be re-opening this week.
Alfred Duma Local Municipality has released a media statement to confirm that they will be re-opening all municipal libraries on Monday, February 22.

The following conditions will be applicable, taking into account that Covid-19 lockdown regulations are still in place: Operating hours will be 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. Libraries will remain closed on Saturdays.
Permitted services at libraries will include: Internet access – 30 minutes per person; study area – one hour; borrowing books and browsing of shelves – 15 minutes inside the library.
Photocopying services will also be available.
Children aged 12 and below will not be allowed access to libraries. The magazine and newspaper section will remain closed.
The statement from the municipality also urges members of the public to observe and comply with all Covid-19 Health & Safety Protocols that are in place within all facilities involved in the provision of municipal and other services.
