NEWCASTLE KZN: Drakensberg Primary welcomes Grade 1s with bell-ringing ceremony
The school welcomed each newbie by allowing them to participate in it's age old bell-ringing tradition .
Drakensberg Primary School welcomed its Grade 1 learners by allowing them the opportunity to ring the school bell as part of their welcoming ceremony.
Smiles were seen all around as the learners each participated in the school’s beloved tradition.
School staff said by the end of Grade 7, learners would once again ring the bell before embarking on their high school journey.
