DUNDEE KZN: Local bowlers carry out ‘raid on Vryheid’

A great day was had by all!

Six trips teams travelled to Vryheid this past Saturday to compete in Vryheid Bowling Club’s Autumn Day. It was a particularly exciting day for most of the travelling party, as a number of players were playing their first competition away from home!

A great day was had by all! Phillip Scheepers from Vryheid won the competition, while Jacques Bierbaum and his team ended up in fourth place, followed by Desmond Johnson and his team in fifth. Thank you to Vryheid Bowling Club for their hospitality; Dundee will certainly be back.

The Club Novice Singles will be played this coming weekend, so good bowling to all. If you would like to find out more about bowls, please contact Greg Conolly on 082-924-7788.
