Two people suffered slight injuries when a car was involved in a crash near the Tandy Street intersection late on Sunday afternoon.

Services were in attendance and the road closed while the scene was cleared. Traffic officials ascribed the cause of the accident to ‘drinking and driving’. It appeared as if the car hit a tree.
