A Ford Fiesta and a bakkie were involved in a head-on collision in Roosboom at about midday yesterday (April 12). Passing motorists stopped to see what had happened and if they could help in any way.

EMRS and police responded to the scene.

The driver of the Ford sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to hospital.

The other driver was luckily not injured in the crash.
