Due to the act of vandals that stole copper cables, the uThukela District Municipality call centre number is currently out of order.

An alternate number has been provided for residents to lodge queries relating to water and sewage.

This number is 036 638 5100/ 2400.

“While Telkom has been notified about the matter and is busy attending to it, temporary arrangements have been made to utilize the office lines on a 24/7 basis. We apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused,” said communication manager Jabulani Mkhonza.
