DUNDEE KZN: Bomb scare at Municipality

Staff are waiting for the all clear

A bomb scare this morning prompted the evacuation of staff from the Endumeni Municipal building on Victoria Street.

A caller phoned the switchboard operator, claiming that a bomb had been placed in the building. SAPS and Disaster Management officials were on hand to ensure all staff left the building.

The area has been cordoned off to wait for the Dog Unit from Newcastle to bring in sniffer dogs to scour the building.
