ESTCOURT KZN: Wagendrift pump station is down again
“The matter is being attended to by our engineers"
More water interruptions are on the cards for businesses and households in several areas in and around Estcourt as the Wagendrift pump station has experienced yet another hitch.
According to uThukela District Municipality, a diesel bowser had broken down, making it impossible to fill the generators with diesel.
“The matter is being attended to by our engineers. As soon as the bowser is fixed, we will start pumping again. Apologies for the inconvenience caused,” commented communication manager Jabulani Mkhonza.
The affected areas include the industrial area and Wards 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17.
