Ladysmith KZN: uThukela call centre unreachable?

The phone just rings and rings...

Ladysmith residents are exasperated with the uThukela call centre, as the operators don’t seem to ever answer their phones.

People are saying that they try to contact the call centre regarding matters such as sewage problems or burst water pipes in their area, but cannot get hold of anyone. The phone just rings and rings…

Residents say they feel helpless and don’t know which avenue to take, which leaves them frustrated…

“There has been a sewage leak in my road for months now and I fail to get a hold of uThukela,” said a resident of Cornflower Road.
