NEWCASTLE KZN: Farm attack near Madadeni Section 1 reported (update)

Emergency responders have reported that a farm attack took place near Keyway Motors, in Section 1 Madadeni today.

Calls for urgent assistance were apparently answered by locals who have since rushed to help.

“There was a farm attack there. The farmer is ok… There were some attackers there, it seems like it was foreign nationals. We will try to get more info,” confirmed a source.

New information indicates one suspect has been arrested while a second suspect has fled the scene.
