NEWCASTLE KZN: See the devastation left behind after looters target Madadeni SAB and KwaMathukuza

Regional investigative reporter, Estella Naicker was on the ground to capture these images of the devastation.

Images below were taken of the looting in KwaMathukuza and SAB in Madadeni.

Reports also indicated most filling stations have run out of fuel and queues to get in to forecourts and supermarkets this morning were extremely long.

As it stands today, most people are asking where to buy food and fuel. Community members, SAPS and other security personnel are still on patrol and updating the public regularly through official channels.

Residents are urged not to share fake news or spread unnecessary panic and to rather wait for confirmation of information received by relevant authorities.
