Worshipping God through his words, Thabo Thwala is hoping to make it big in the music world.

The 25-year-old can often be found in Dundee, with guitar in hand, singing to his heart’s content. Originally from Newcastle, Thabo found himself in Dundee due to his job as a merchandiser. However, once his contract expired and wasn’t renewed, Thabo opted to stay in Dundee, hoping to find other employment.

While he continues his job-searching though, he is also pursuing his love of music.

“Music is my gift. I know I have a unique style and I know I will do my best if given a chance,” he says.

Thabo writes his own songs and all of them, which are a mix of gospel and love songs, are in Zulu. Known predominantly as a vocalist, Thabo is also hoping to incorporate some guitar into his music as well.

Thabo taught himself how to play guitar by watching YouTube videos and is hoping to get a mentor who can help him grow as an artist. He also hopes to grow in confidence so that he can sing in English as well.

“I am not fulfilled unless I am doing music. I one day dream of releasing an album, performing on stage, or helping other artists reach their full potential.”

Anyone who can assist Thabo reach his full potential is asked to contact him on 076 223 9589.
