ESTCOURT KZN: Power failure leads to water cuts in Ntabamhlophe
Communities within wards 13, 14 and 16 will experience water interruptions
A power failure at the Wembezi pump station has resulted in water supply to Ntabamhlophe being affected.
According to water and sanitation service provider uThukela District Municipality the power failure escalated to technical faults at the pump station.
“These challenges are caused by the power failure at the plant, which is attributed to load shedding. The problems will be resolved once the power is back in Wembezi,” said communication manager Jabulani Mkhonza.
Communities within wards 13, 14 and 16 will experience water interruptions.
