ESTCOURT KZN: Expect water interruptions says uThukela

“Communities must also expect discoloured water after the repairs because the reservoir is completely empty"

Households and businesses in the vicinity of Eskort Limited can expect water interruptions.

This is according to uThukela District Municipality that has reported that a ‘pumping main’ had burst.

Communications manager Jabulani Mkhonza explains: “The pumping main from the reservoir to the bacon factory has burst open. Our technical team is currently on site trying to fix the damaged pipes.”

Areas that are affected include Eskort Limited, Estcourt Correctional Service Centre, Flamingo Moon and surrounding areas.

“Communities must also expect discoloured water after the repairs because the reservoir is completely empty. Apologies for the inconvenience caused,” added Mkhonza.
