Home Affairs offices will open over Human Rights weekend

The Home Affairs offices in Vryheid, Paulpietersburg and Vryheid Hospital will be open on the following dates: Saturday, March 19, from 8:00 to 16:00; Sunday, March 20, from 08:00 to 16:00; Monday, March 21, from 08:00 to 13:00. The offices will be open mainly for ID collection and birth registration for newborn babies. “We will be volunteering to work on these dates as a way of celebrating Human Rights Day. It is everyone’s right to have an Identity Document and a birth certificate,” said Phumlani Mchunu from Home Affairs.
