Life is too short by Halalisani Shoba
Work hard to achieve all your goals and stop worrying about what you cannot change.

How many hours do you spend watching television per year? How many hours do you spend on your cell phone, social media to be specific? How many hours do you spend listening to music? How many hours do you waste while sleeping? How much of your time do you spend with your wife? Your husband? Girlfriend? Boyfriend? Your loved ones? There is absolutely nothing ‘too short about life’. The problem starts when we spend most of our time doing the opposite of what we were destined for. Find your purpose and serve accordingly, then you will realise that life is not too short.
Whoever said, “life is too short”, wasn’t referring to their own life. How can you claim “life to be too short” while you still breathing? Because we don’t know what happens after death. Even for the dead, life wasn’t too short for them because we don’t know exactly, what was their lifespan. The moment you claim that “life is too short”, then you must know that you are interfering with somebody else’s business.
I’m not against the concept of people “enjoying” life but I have noticed that many people love to enjoy misery. How do you enjoy life while you haven’t served your purpose? Do you even know what is your purpose? Do you even know what you are doing here on earth? You will find young people to be specific, doing abnormal things and surprisingly they will claim to be “enjoying their lives”. Yes, life has different stages, leading to proper growth but some people never live to reach proper growth because of unnecessary mistakes and such mistakes lead to unnecessary suffering.
Live your life to the fullest. Life is not too short but no one will exceed the number of his/her days on earth. Focus on your life because you have no business in somebody else’s life. If you were to die today, it is not my business to claim that your life was cut short simply because I haven’t experienced death. Use your time wisely, spend your time with your loved ones as much as possible. Work hard to achieve all your goals and stop worrying about what you cannot change.
