A truck transporting vehicle engines caught on fire on the N3 this morning (April 26).
Inkosi Langalibalele Fire and Rescue were summoned to the scene, along the northbound lane near Ultra City.
When they arrived, the truck was off the road and the trailer was on fire.
Fire fighters quickly extinguished the fire with minimal obstruction to the road.
No injuries were reported.
