UPDATE: Another postponement of Ronnie Calitz’s murder trial

It is now almost two years since Ronnie Calitz was murdered in his Beaconsfield Street house on September 16, 2020.

The case was heard at Dundee Magistrate Court.

There has been another delay in the trial of murder accused Kenneth Edwin ‘Jimmy’ Mulhatton (32).
He appeared briefly in the Dundee Regional Court on Tuesday, May 17, only to have the case once again postponed to June 15 for pre-trial. It is now almost two years since Ronnie Calitz was murdered in his Beaconsfield Street house on September 16, 2020.
Calitz was stabbed multiple times at his home and the house was then set on fire. The accused is currently being held in custody at Ladysmith Correctional Services.
