Donate during ‘World Blood Donor Month’
There is a shortage of blood across the country, so your help is needed
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) in Northern Natal, ie Newcastle and Ladysmith, is the only branch in the province to have exceeded targets in the months of April and May.
The SANBS says it wants to replicate this success during June, which is ‘World Blood Donor Month’. They urge the public to come forward in numbers to donate blood, since there is a critical shortage at the moment.
