Cancer survivors walk for hope

Organised by the Estcourt Cancer Committee, the walk saw cancer survivors getting together and stretching their legs to inspire others who have battled the disease.

Organised by the Estcourt Cancer Committee, the walk saw cancer survivors getting together and stretching their legs to inspire others who have battled the disease.
“We know that cancer isn’t rainbows and butterflies, and once a patient enters a dark mind-set, it can be difficult to get out of it,” said Simla. She added that it was an inspirational occasion for all, as the participants got to spend the day together out in the sun. She concluded by saying that the Estcourt Cancer Committee brightened up their lives by inviting them to be part of such an amazing experience.
