Car club gets all their ducks in a row

There - with all the ducks in a row - the public will be more than welcome to visit, view the cars and talk to the proud owners of these automobiles of yesteryear.

The Citroën Car Club of South Africa will be visiting the battlefields town of Dundee to celebrate their 27th CV & Friends Raid from September 23 to 26.
This annual event mirrors similar events held in Europe.
The Citroën 2CV is an iconic French car that was built between 1948 and 1990, with very few changes to the design over the years.
In South Africa, there is a strong contingent of 2CV enthusiasts, even though the car was never sold here.
The weekend of the 23rd to the 26th, 14 examples of these cars known as the DeauCheveaux (‘two horses’) or Ducks are coming to town.
The club will be visiting Talana Museum on Saturday, September 24.
There – with all the ducks in a row – the public will be more than welcome to visit, view the cars and talk to the proud owners of these automobiles of yesteryear.
A further photo opportunity will be available on Sunday, September 25, at the Battlefields Country Lodge from about 16:00 after the club returns from their visit to Rorke’s Drift.
