Donations keep icy-cold winter at bay in the Dannhauser area

The Al-Imdaad Foundation, in conjunction with the Dannhauser Women’s Forum, are keeping hearts and bodies warm through their ‘Operation Winter Warmth’ programme.
No less than 50 adults and 47 children received welcome donations.
Residents in Ward 2 recently benefited when the foundation distributed blankets, walking sticks, crutches, warm hats and wheelchairs.
Mrs Gounden was especially pleased with the donation of a wheelchair, which will greatly help.
In attendance was the local councillor, Cllr Xolisi Kunene, and members of the forum.
