7 injured in Albert Wessels crash

Seven people sustained serious injuries after a mini-bus taxi and a bakkie collided at the Albert Wessels and Hardwick Street intersection on Friday afternoon (August 1).
Craig Botha of KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service, said they had responded promptly to the scene, providing immediate medical attention to the seven individuals who sustained serious injuries.
All injured patients were treated at the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
“No fatalities or critical injuries were reported,” he stated.
The exact circumstances as to what caused the collision remains under investigation.
