Motorbike rider seriously injured in Drakensberg Road collision

A motorbike rider was seriously injured after a crash at Drakensberg Drive and Allen Street. Emergency services treated those involved.

A motorbike rider sustained serious injuries in a collision involving a motorbike and two vehicles at the intersection of Drakensberg and Allen Roads earlier this morning (Tuesday, November 4).

Paramedic Craig Botha of Kwazulu Private Ambulance Services, who was present at the scene, reported that the motorbike rider suffered serious injuries, while the drivers of the two vehicles were fortunate to escape with only minor injuries.

All emergency services quickly responded to the scene, with Magenta Medical Services providing immediate treatment to those involved before transporting the biker to hospital for further medical care.

The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
