Hospital looking for patient’s next-of-kin

Madadeni Hospital is appealing for help in tracing Sthabiso Masondo’s family after he was found confused in Arbor Park.

Madadeni Regional Hospital is appealing to members of the community to assist in locating the family of a patient known to them as Sthabiso Masondo.

Patient found in Arbor Park

Masondo is an African male believed to be about 30 years old. He has stated that his mother’s name is Busi Masondo.

He was admitted to Madadeni Regional Hospital on May 8 after being found in a bushy area of Arbor Park, where he had reportedly been sitting for two days. At the time, he appeared to be confused.

The hospital does not have any contact details for his next-of-kin and has been unable to trace his place of origin or locate his family.

Community urged to assist

Members of the public who know Masondo, his family or friends are urged to come forward to help reunite him with his loved ones.

Anyone with information is requested to contact the public relations officer (PRO) on 034 328 8043 or email Madadeni.PRO@kznhealth.gov.za
