Golfers raise funds for St Martin’s charity
Golfers and local businesses supported St Martin's by raising funds for vulnerable children at the annual charity golf day.
The St Martin’s Charity Fundraiser Golf Day teed off on Saturday (July 11) at Newcastle Golf Club, with dozens of golfers taking to the greens, excited to participate.
Hosted annually by the Newcastle Mall, golf enthusiasts, residents and businesses all pitched in to support and fund-raise for the non-profit organisation that provides care for abandoned, abused and traumatised children and babies in the community.

The winners were as follows:
- 1st – Leeroy Abbette and Donovan Collett with 46 points;
- 2nd – Roshan Singh and Kamil Singh with 45 points (counted out);
- 3rd – Brandt van den Berg and Charl Coetsee with 45 points (counted out);
- 4th – Jannie Esterhuizen and George Meyer with 43 points.
- 5th – Owen van Aarde and Uppies Upton with 42 points (counted out).
