Sarel to host annual, bumper rugby weekend

In the main game, Sarel Cilliers will take on Parktown Boys High

It was a challenging start to our sporting fixtures and we hope for better weather this weekend for the Orange Grove/Sarel Cilliers Rugby Day, which will commence on Friday from 1pm and will take place all day Saturday. Parking will be on the field outside the school and security will be provided. There will be lots of food on sale and the tuck-shop will be open.
Please come and support our players and visiting rugby teams; there are many exciting matches lined up and it is guaranteed to be an exciting action-packed weekend.

Students in school uniforms will have free entry at the gate.
On a sad note, Sarel Cilliers lost one of their hostel workers on Friday with the sad passing of Philisiwe Joyce Buthelezi. Ms Buthelezi was a well-loved member of the hostel staff who had worked for the school for 12 years and will be sorely missed. Her death was a shock and unexpected. The staff, under the guidance of Bishop Xaba, held a prayer service on Friday, awaiting funeral details.
