Copper thieves turn their attention to the Dundee Adult Centre

The war waged by copper thieves on the town’s infrastructure is not stopping, with the Dundee Adult Centre being the latest victim.
Brazen thieves scaled a wall facing Boundary Road, carefully evading the razor wire, to access and rip out several metres of copper piping.
Gwen Cox, who lives on-site at the centre, said she was on her way to the kitchen at about 05:00 when she heard water running.
“It was still dark then, but I peeped out from where I could hear the water running and spotted two men in a secluded corner. They immediately made their getaway and I saw that they had a pair of ladders with them,” said Gwen.
