Body and skeletal remains found in separate incidents

This is the third body in as many weeks that has been found in the area

Yet another body was discovered late last month, May 25,  in central Dundee. The body was of a man, thought to be around 70 years old, who was found dead in a vacant plot on McKenzie Street, near the Tatham Street intersection.

The cause of death was not immediately known as decomposition had already set in.

He was later identified as Terence Boswell. A police investigation is continuing

In another incident, SAPS said human skeletal remains were found in a field last week on the Dundee/Glencoe road.

Cst SF Nkwanyana, the SAPS spokesperson, said police were alerted after a herdsman found a human skeleton next to the railway line/ It was not identified whether the skeleton was of which gender, it was then taken by a mortuary van

An inquest has been opened.
