A house on Nightingale Drive, Peacevale, was destroyed in a fire last night, Friday.
Witnesses said the fire appeared to spread rapidly. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
There were no known injuries.
Mac Osman of the NDE 911 Pro-Active group thanked all those who rallied to give assistance and said the fire brigade ‘had an awesome response time from fire and rescue: three and a half minutes from the time of the call to being on the scene’.
