Dundee July weekend is here

Today, July 12, 340 horses and 500 horse owners and jockeys are anticipated to arrive for inspections, registration

Excitement is building for the 18th edition of the Dundee July (July 13-15) promises another fashion extravaganza and a top-notch traditional horse racing experience.
Sport, Arts, and Culture MEC, Dr Nkululeko Mahlaba, claimed that the event will inject around R50- million into the local economy with overĀ  90% of service providers sourced from local suppliers

The Dundee July has a budget of R9,3-million, sourced from public and private partners.

A careers expo, focused on opportunities within the equine industry, is currently underway in the Moth Hall and all are welcome to attend,

The street parade will be held on Friday and promises to bring a sea of colour and fun to town.

There will be live fashion shows choreographed are also presented on the day of the event. The musical experience will include Afropop, house, hip hop, Amapiano, maskanda, and kwaito acts, as well as rising and established performers, will all perform at the Dundee July Experience.

There will also be live music events at both the horse track adjacent to the airfield and at Battlefields Lodge.
