Endumeni Residents Association look at ‘a fresh start’

Residents are hopeful that 2024 will see a new beginning for the municipal area.

Plans are afoot to re-organise the Endumeni Residents Association with a general meeting set to take place this month.
The current chairperson, FC Bester, said he ‘is being overwhelmed with complaints regarding municipal services, the lack of the implementation of by-laws ‘and many other issues’.
“Many people complain but unfortunately few are prepared to come forward and get involved in a bid to right the wrongs. Hence, the a need for a re-organisation meeting where we will seek to get fresh blood onto the committee and look at the way forward.
“We cannot simply let things continue as they have been doing. Only by getting involved will we make a difference.”
The meeting will be held from 4pm at the Methodist Church hall, Gladstone Street, on Monday, January 15
