DHS enjoys hockey domination over Vryheid High School

The U/14 hockey girls celebrated a 3-1 victory, while the U/16 squad fought hard for a 4-3 win. The second team dominated with a convincing 3-0 triumph.

On Saturday, Dundee High School (DHS) travelled to Vryheid to take part in their annual winter sports league against Vryheid High School. The scores were as follows:
U/14 boys lost 14-21, U/15 lost 12-24, and U/16 suffered their first loss of the season 0-7. The second team lost 5-22. However, the first team secured a thrilling victory with a close score of 18-16.
The DHS chess team also had their first loss against VHS, with a score of 3½:6½.
The hockey boys dominated their matches with beautiful hockey and excellent goals. The first and second teams triumphed with 5-0 wins.

However, the first team faced a disappointment, falling short with a narrow 2-1 loss. (Report by Langelihle Sikhakhane)
