A winter warmer donation for newborns at Dundee Hospital

"Our smallest community members need all the support the greater community can provide and a beanie will help fight off winter's icy grip on our babies' heads," said Tor.

With the harsh winter slowly creeping in, TD Timbers thought of the newborns in Dundee Hospital’s maternity ward.
This thought resulted in a donation of 140 beanies.

The owner of TD Timbers, Tor Devereux, and his wife, Janine, said they wanted to give back in their own way to show appreciation to the community for their continued support. Janine handmade the beanies for the little ones.

“The beanies were delivered last Wednesday, with the total goal of 700 to be delivered by the end of August.”
Tor and Janine chose to support the maternity ward because ‘mums are delivering the next generation of our community’.

He also explained that they are looking to expand this project ‘in time, as funds and skills allow for more people to be trained to make the beanies and the purchase of more beanie-making machines’. He added that they are inviting members of the public and local businesses to take part in this project by supporting the manufacture of the beanies by donating materials.
Tor and Janine thanked Kith & Kin and Ismails, who have already partnered with TD Timbers on this project.
