Correctional Services team supports Dundee Primary in Mandela Day clean-up
Correctional Services staff and inmates help clean and paint Dundee Primary during Mandela Day community outreach.
In the spirit of Mandela Day, staff and inmates from Dundee and Glencoe Correctional Services rolled up their sleeves on Friday morning to lend a helping hand at Dundee Primary School.
The initiative, held during the school holidays, saw the team participate in a clean-up campaign that included painting walls, gardening, and trimming trees across the school premises.
The project was supported by colleagues from both correctional centres, with inmates from Glencoe Correctional Services volunteering their time and effort as part of the department’s ongoing commitment to community upliftment.
Officials confirmed that this is just the beginning, with further projects planned to assist under-resourced schools and community organisations in the area.
