Women celebrate strength and unity at Dundee event
Women celebrate resilience and unity at a Dundee event, sharing powerful stories and inspiring one another to shape the future.
Digit Dundee FMS hosted a vibrant Women’s Month celebration on Friday, August 22, bringing together women from across the community to honour resilience, achievement and solidarity.
Themed “Proverbs 31:25 – She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at days to come”, the event featured inspiring talks, meaningful discussions and an atmosphere of empowerment.
Community leaders including Mrs Madondo of the Glencoe Local Church, Pastor Adams and Ms Makhoba of Avbob delivered powerful messages, urging women to embrace their strength and continue shaping a brighter future.
Clients of Digit Dundee FMS, such as Ms Mpanza of Siyejabula Security and Ms Khumalo of Asiziqalele, also shared personal stories of perseverance and success.
“This was more than a celebration – it was a call to action,” said the organisers. “We wanted to remind every woman in the room that her voice matters.”
The programme ended on a high note, leaving attendees with renewed purpose, stronger networks and a shared determination to uplift one another.
