Lionel bags Dundee LIV Golf Day with 39 points

The LIV Golf format serves up a regular challenge to all Dundee golfers keen to sharpen their play.

Dundee Country Club hosted another round of LIV Golf on Saturday in fine weather conditions.
42 players took part in an IPS format.
The day’s winner was Lionel Shaw on 39 points, after a count-out with John Zulu and FC Chamberlain.

Nearest the pin winners were: no. 4 – Gene Robson; no. 8 – Bruce Meyer; no. 12 – John Zulu; and no. 16 – Robert Khumalo.
The committee extended thanks to PR Mining and the other sponsors; the course staff led by Jo Khumalo; Kevin for scoreboard duties; as well as the bar, cleaning, kitchen and Pro Shop staff. Upcoming events:

– Annual general meeting on October 7 at 18:00 (all members welcome);
– National Cancer Golf Day on October 9 (IPS format). Players are urged to book at the Pro Shop.
