Festival of Lights brings joy and flavour to Dundee

Dundee Hindu Temple celebrates Diwali with a Festival of Lights filled with music, food, and vibrant community spirit.

The Dundee Hindu Temple will host its annual Diwali Fair on Saturday, October 18, from 11am to 4pm at the temple grounds.

A celebration of light and community

Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most significant events on the Hindu calendar. It symbolises the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Visitors can look forward to a vibrant day filled with music, dance, and cultural entertainment, alongside stalls offering home décor, gifts, clothing, and delicious traditional food.

Entry costs R10 per person, and everyone is welcome to share in the spirit of the celebration. Stallholders may begin setting up from 10am.

For more information or stall bookings, contact the Dundee Hindu Temple Committee.

Come and celebrate Diwali — a day of light, joy, and togetherness!
