Young Dundee model shines as she chases her dreams

Thirteen-year-old Ayabonga Dlamini shines on the beauty pageant stage as she continues to chase her modelling dreams.

At just 13 years old, Ayabonga Dlamini from Sibongile Location is already making her mark in the world of beauty pageants.

Born in Newcastle and raised in Dundee, Ayabonga is a Grade 8 learner at Sarel Cilliers High School. With a passion for both modelling and netball, she began her modelling journey at the age of five and has continued to grow from strength to strength.

Over the years, Ayabonga has taken part in numerous competitions, earning several top placements. Her achievements include being crowned Miss Cultural Endumeni Queen 2025/2026, first princess in Mr and Miss Face of Schools SA, and runner-up titles in Miss Sarel and Miss Sibongile.

Ayabonga says she is proud of how far she has come and remains determined to keep chasing her dreams.

“Modelling has given me confidence and the opportunity to express myself,” she said.
“I hope to achieve many more titles in the future.”
