Respect, reflect and remember on Memorial Sunday in Dundee

Join Dundee residents on 9 November to honour the men and women who served their country and never returned.

The annual Memorial Sunday Remembrance Service will be held on Sunday, November 9, at the Dundee War Memorial in Victoria Street. Guests are asked to gather from 10:45am for the 11:00am MOTH memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony.

Around the world, people will pause at 11am to remember those who served and never returned — and Dundee will do the same.
Wreaths will be laid by representatives of the Armed Forces, SAPS, civic organisations, and descendants of the men and women named on the memorial.

Those wishing to lay a wreath are asked to contact Pam McFadden on WhatsApp at 079 490 5933 to be added to the list and arrange wording.
After the service, refreshments will be served at the MOTH Shellhole (corner of Beaconsfield and Wilson Street, opposite the Dutch Reformed Church). A donation box will be available in support of MOTH Shellhole exhibits, and a cash bar will operate.
