KFC donates R100 000 to uplift Enhlanhlini Care Centre

KFC Dundee spreads joy and hope and hearty meals for children at Enhlanhlini Care Centre.

A spirit of generosity filled the air when KFC Dundee handed over a R100 000 donation to Enhlanhlini Care Centre in Sibongile as part of its annual feeding scheme project on October 22.

Giving back to the community

The donation forms part of KFC’s R2 Feeding Scheme, a non-profit initiative that supports early childhood nutrition across KwaZulu-Natal. The contribution will go toward funding and sustaining the care centre’s daily operations.

In addition to the donation, approximately 200 children at the centre were treated to a hearty meal of chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and coleslaw. The children, divided into small groups, enjoyed the meal in cheerful spirits — singing songs of appreciation to thank KFC for its continued support.

The event took place under warm, sunny skies, adding to the atmosphere of joy and gratitude.

“The centre is deeply grateful to KFC for its generous financial assistance and for bringing happiness to our children,” said representatives of Enhlanhlini Care Centre.
