Police appeal for help to find missing Nquthu woman

Police are seeking public help to find 43-year-old Jabulile Promise Buthelezi, last seen at Nquthu Plaza in October.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Nquthu is appealing to the public for assistance in locating 43-year-old Jabulile Promise Buthelezi, who has been missing since October 6.

According to reports, Buthelezi was last seen at Nquthu Plaza, where she had gone to withdraw money after being dropped off by her husband. She has not been seen since. Originally from the Uitvaal area, she had been residing with her husband in Nquthu.

Description of the missing person


Buthelezi was last seen wearing a grey skirt, a grey shirt and white trainers. She is of fair complexion and approximately 1.78 metres tall.

SAPS spokesperson Constable Siyabonga Nkwanyana urged the community to come forward with any information that may help locate her.

“We appeal to anyone who may have seen Jabulile or knows where she might be to contact the police immediately. Any information, no matter how small, can help bring her home safely,” said Constable Nkwanyana.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is requested to contact Detective Sergeant Buthelezi on 079 622 6533 or call the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.
