Feeding donation brings joy to Thandabantu children in Dundee

Build-It donates food parcels to Thandabantu Community Centre, bringing smiles to the children it supports.

There were smiles aplenty when Nobungani Build-It in Dundee this week donated food parcels and juices to the Thandabantu Community Centre in Madondo Street, Sibongile. The centre, a non-profit organisation, relies on community support to care for its 30 underprivileged children.

Centre continues vital work despite limited space

Despite its small premises, the centre operates with a dedicated team – one principal, two teachers and a groundsman – ensuring that the children receive nutritious meals each day.

The children sang songs and thanked Build-It for their generosity before enjoying the meal and juice. The centre also expressed gratitude to the other sponsors who continue to support its work.

Community members wishing to contribute are encouraged to contact the centre directly.
