Paki Lions retain T20 title with dominant win in Dundee night final

Paki Lions retain their T20 title with a commanding 56-run win led by Jonathan Benjamin’s all-round display.

Paki Lions successfully defended their T20 night series title on Saturday, securing a convincing 56-run victory.

After being sent in to bat, the Lions were led by Jonathan Benjamin, who scored 47 off 30 balls, including eight fours and a six. Captain Kamran Haniff supported well with 38 off 50 deliveries.

Dian Bierbaum was the standout bowler for Molls, taking 3/26 in his four overs.

Chasing a target of 139, Molls struggled from the outset, with their top order failing to build momentum.

Benjamin delivered a match-winning performance with the ball, taking six wickets, including four in a single over.

Daniel Halforty provided resistance with an unbeaten 33 off 37 balls, but lacked support from the other end.

The final wicket fell in the 17th over, sealing a comfortable win for the Lions.

The match was played in good spirit, with both captains, Haniff and Wilfred Bierbaum, praising their supporters who braved the cold evening conditions.
