Three suspects were arrested after a house robbery on Sunday, April 5, in Steadville Area J. 

According to reports, a resident in the house was awoken when the robbers kicked open the door.

Assault and theft

The victim attempted to hide under a bed, but was discovered and assaulted. The thugs also damaged his television set and took his cellphone.

Victim escapes and alerts police

The victim managed to escape from the house and ran for help. A police vehicle happened to be nearby, and he told the officers what had transpired.

The officers proceeded to the scene and found all three suspects still inside the house. They were arrested in connection with the robbery.

Investigation continues

The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
