Bowlers flourish at Spring Tournament
The club would like to wish those members taking part in the Zone Pairs in Newcastle this coming weekend 'good bowling and safe travelling mercies'.
Vryheid Bowling Club hosted its annual Spring Tournament this past weekend.
Conditions were summery and the mood was festive as 12 teams took to the greens, with Dundee entering a total of four teams.
At the end of the tournament, it was Dougie Slabbert and his team who took the title for 2022.
The runner-up position went to Jannie Strydom and the Brockmann brothers, who also won the prize for the team with the best spirit.
