Biggarsberg Athletic Club members laced up their running shoes for this year’s 95th Comrades Marathon, with eight athletes taking on the ‘down-run’ from Pietermaritzburg to Durban in difficult conditions.
The club would like to congratulate all the runners who completed this year’s race.

Xolani Mazibuko – 8:38.26 (Bill Rowan medal); Dr Shane Hillar – 8:46.24 (Bill Rowan medal); Sanele Nxumalo – 9:06 (Robert Mtshali medal); Zwelihle Duma – 10:04.45 (bronze medal); Anthon Nkabini – 10:11.18 (bronze medal); Simakahle Khumalo – 10:55.14; Khulani Nene – 11:04.26 (Vic Chapman medal); and Sibongiseni Sibisie – 11:35.50 (Vic Chapman medal).

Khulekani Kunene was awarded a Vic Chapman medal.
